Dr. Borich is a seasoned child and adolescent psychiatrist dedicated to providing extraordinary care to children, adolescents, and young adults. With a wealth of experience spanning over a decade, Dr. Borich brings a compassionate, individually tailored, and evidence-based approach to every patient interaction.
Dr. Borich has extensive inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room experience, and specializes in a wide range of pathologies including depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, psychosis, mania, and behavioral disorders.
Dr. Abbey Borich is a dedicated child and adolescent psychiatrist who specializes in supporting the mental health and emotional development of children, adolescents, and young adults. She is committed to creating a welcoming, compassionate, and supportive environment where young patients can feel safe to express themselves, explore their emotions, and begin the healing process.
Using a personalized approach that combines medication management with therapeutic interventions, Dr. Borich helps patients better understand themselves, manage psychiatric symptoms, and improve overall emotional well-being. Collaboration with families is a cornerstone of her practice, as she believes that open communication and family involvement are essential for achieving lasting success in treatment.
Dr. Borich earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed a post-baccalaureate psychiatry research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She went on to earn her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by residency and specialized child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at the Medical University of South Carolina.
She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, reflecting her commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care for her patients.
